CUKUSIN Warranty Policy

Dear Customer, Thank you for purchasing CUKUSIN products! All our products are designed with innovative technology to ensure you enjoy optimal performance and a convenient user experience. If your product encounters any issues, our CUKUSIN service team will promptly handle your warranty needs.

Any legally purchased products from our company are entitled to warranty service within the warranty period. The consumer rights stipulated in the prevailing laws of your country and the rights asserted against distributors in purchase contracts are independent and are not affected by CUKUSIN's warranty policy.

I. Warranty Period

The warranty becomes effective from the date of delivery. Your valid purchase receipt or order screenshot serves as proof of warranty entitlement.

  • Standard Warranty: 12 months (1 Year) for Engine and Shaft components.


     

  • Official Website Exclusive: Purchases made directly on cukusin.com receive an extended 24-month warranty on non-consumable structural parts. Purchases from other platforms include a standard 360-day (1 year) warranty.


     

II. Free Warranty Service (Parts & Guidance)

Because our outboard motors are heavy machinery, our primary warranty service consists of providing free replacement parts and professional remote diagnostic support. Basic Terms for In-Warranty Service:

  1. If your product is confirmed by CUKUSIN to have malfunctions caused by material, craftsmanship, or factory defects, CUKUSIN will provide and ship the necessary replacement parts to you completely free of charge.

  2. No Whole-Unit Returns: Due to high freight costs and the risk of transit damage, we do not require or accept whole-unit returns for repair. We will provide detailed manuals or video instructions to help you or a local mechanic replace the defective parts.

  3. The warranty period for the replaced parts shall be the remaining period of the original warranty or 90 days, whichever is longer.

  4. Applicable only to CUKUSIN products purchased through official US direct channels or designated authorized dealers.

III. Out-of-Warranty & Paid Repair Services

If your issue falls outside the warranty coverage or beyond the warranty period, we still offer support:

  • Parts Purchase: You can purchase the necessary repair materials from our official price list. No extra labor fees apply if you replace them yourself.

  • Mail-in Repair (If Authorized): If a repair requires sending the item or a specific component to our facility, the customer is 100% responsible for all two-way shipping/freight costs. Out-of-warranty labor costs are uniformly priced at $50 USD per repair, plus the cost of materials. CUKUSIN will safely dispose of any replaced old parts.

IV. Exclusions from Warranty Coverage

CUKUSIN will NOT provide free warranty services under the following circumstances:

  1. Consumables & Wear-and-Tear: Normal wear and tear or consumable parts (including but not limited to engine oil, gasoline, spark plugs, filters, throttle cables, blades, etc.). Promotional gifts are also excluded.

  2. Improper Use: Damage caused by improper operation, failure to follow the user manual, or using the motor for purposes other than normal watercraft/boat applications.

  3. Lack of Maintenance: Malfunctions caused by failure to properly clean, maintain, or store the product as instructed.

  4. Unauthorized Modifications: Damage caused by using non-CUKUSIN original accessories, or repairs/modifications performed by unauthorized individuals.

  5. External Factors: Damage caused by animals, lightning, abnormal voltage, fire, floods, environmental disasters, or transportation/dropping after delivery.

  6. Invalid Proof: Purchase receipts that have been altered, or products where the serial numbers have been removed or tampered with.

  7. Cross-Border Use: The product cannot function properly because it was used in a country where it was not authorized or intended to be used.
